Easter Nature Club Eggstravaganza
Celebrate the magic of spring with a joyful morning of nature, creativity and outdoor play at our Family Easter Nature Club in the beautiful Wicklow Rovers Sensory Garden.
Designed for young children and their families, this relaxed, hands-on session invites children to explore nature through crafts, gardening, sensory play and discovery. Families can move freely between activity stations and enjoy the garden at their own pace.
Children will have the chance to get their hands in the soil, create Easter-themed crafts and take part in playful nature activities that celebrate the season of new growth.
During the session children can:
🌱 Plant their own seeds – sow carrot or bean seeds and take your pot home to watch it grow
🥕 Harvest carrots from the soil – dig, pull and transport carrots using child-sized garden tools
🎨 Decorate Easter eggs – paint wooden and cardboard eggs to take home
🐰 Create a bunny mask – a fun craft perfect for imaginative play
🌸 Make a spring nature bracelet using flowers, leaves and natural treasures
🔎 Go on a gentle spring nature hunt around the garden
Our mud kitchen, sand and water play will also be set up, giving children even more opportunities for creative and sensory play outdoors.
This session is designed to be calm, welcoming and family-friendly, encouraging curiosity, creativity and connection with nature.

A garden gives you a protected physical space which helps increase your sense of mental space and it gives you quiet, so you can hear your own thoughts.
